CPRC is the bridge in building trust and collaboration between the police personnel and the communities they serve in order to enhance public safety and quality of life.

To nurture trust and mutual respect between the police personnel and the community members through positive interactions and open communication.
To have an active engagement with residents, businesses, schools, institutions and other stakeholders to understand their concerns and involving them in finding solutions.
To engage members of the community in crime prevention efforts through a proactive approach and by addressing the root causes of crime in the region.

CPRC’s approach aims to leverage available resources effectively to meet the needs of the community, while fostering collaboration between the police department and civilians.
Shifting focus from arrests and enforcement, to train/support police personnel to identify the underlying issues contributing to crime and work with the community to find solutions.
Support and train officers and personnel to be visible and accessible in the communities they serve, fostering trust and communication with residents.
Officers and personnel to be trained to understand and respect the cultural backgrounds and diversity of the communities they serve, enhancing their ability to build trust.
Support and facilitate communities in developing specific strategies to identify and address crucial problems such as drug dealing or vandalism, in the region.
Empower communities to take an active role in crime prevention through initiatives such as neighbourhood watch programs and community patrols.
Create a system and SOP to analyse crime data and community feedback to prioritize issues and allocate resources effectively.
